How do we charge?
Thank you for choosing ChinAfrica Express! The final cost is based on the higher value between VOLUMETRIC weight or ACTUAL weight of your goods, and is subject to a final assessment at our warehouse.

First of all, our fees mainly include the following 6 categories:
1. International freight
2. Domestic freight
3. Procurement service fee
4. Customs clearance fee
5. Insurance fee
6. Miscellaneous
1. International Shipping
As the name suggests, it is the cost of shipping goods internationally. This part of the cost is mainly determined by the type of your product (ordinary goods, live goods, textiles…), as well as the weight and volume. We need to first distinguish what type of goods your goods belong to. Different types of goods will charge different fees per kg. Next, we need to calculate the actual weight and volume weight of your goods. We choose the larger number as the shipping weight (volumetric weight calculation formula: length * width * height / 6000, unit: cm)
2. Domestic shipping
Domestic shipping costs mainly include the cost of shipping from our warehouse to your destination within the country of your destination. Generally, we will quote you the domestic shipping cost and international shipping cost together by default (because our customers generally need door-to-door service). If you do not need our domestic shipping service, you can also tell our customer support staff and they will give you a more favorable price. Of course, if you do this, you will need to pick up the goods from our warehouse after they arrive.
3. Procurement service fee
This part of the fee is charged to customers who need purchasing services. When Chinafrica helps you purchase, we provide product search services, price comparison services and bargaining services. Our professional procurement will help you find the most favorable and high-quality products. Generally, you need to pay 15% of the purchasing service fee (the higher the price of the product, the lower the service fee).
4. Customs clearance fees
Chinafrica can provide you with customs clearance services. We will help you complete a series of tedious operations such as customs clearance, customs declaration, tax payment, etc., to help you get the most convenient international transportation experience. Of course, the price of this part is also optional. If you need to do customs clearance yourself, you can contact our service staff and we will deduct this fee for you.
5. Insurance costs
This fee is not mandatory. Our staff will recommend whether to purchase insurance based on your situation. Chinafrica’s compensation policy: If your product is lost, we will compensate you for double the shipping cost. If you purchase insurance, we can only compensate you for the cost of your product (and you need to provide the purchase invoice of the product)
6. Miscellaneous
This type of fee is usually related to your product. For example, if you send wooden products, you will need to pay a fumigation fee according to general customs requirements; if your product is overweight, you will need to pay for a forklift fee…
